Three of the puppies should be making their show debuts later this spring. We have been practicing our stacking and focus exercises on the table. Cheryl kindly groomed Houston, Rock It and Crystal in January. The puppies have all enjoyed playing outside, but my goodness it does not take them long to get dirty. What surprises me though is how quickly their coats dry and once again they appear to be clean. They are best friends with our older newfie Taylor. It amazes me how chivalrous Taylor is with these little monkeys.Tidal and Macey were neutered/spayed and are valued members of their families.

We had all 4 bichons over visiting my parents in Vancouver and they were very well behaved little visitors. My sister and I were touring the Olypmic sites and venues. We have been watching the Olympics and rooting for all of our Canadian Athletes. Did you know that Bichons watch TV? Little Rock It enjoys watching himself on the computer video – he’s a very smart little cookie. This little fellow has a huge repertoire of tricks i.e. spins, circles, boxes, stamps his feet, jumps – he loves to learn new things.

Well this certainly has been the warmest winter that we can remember. Our lilac trees have started to bud and we have dandelions and little daisies in the lawn…rather nice to see this time of year! The bichons are either outside playing or inside where they spend time staring out the window while perched on ‘their’ chair.

Can you believe it will be spring in only a couple of months? Happy Spring everyone!
